Red Carpet Entertainment is a proud PRO Member of the CPDJA (Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association). As well, I am presently a sitting member of the CPDJA Executive Management Board as National Vice President.

In May 2011, at the MIAC/PAL Trade Show in Toronto, I was presented with the 2010 George W. Greenwood Memorial Award by Dennis Hampson, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the CPDJA.

The Award is for Outstanding Personal Commitment, Dedication and Contributions to the goals and objectives and to the Members of the Canadian Professional Disc Jockey Association.
Here's a Brief Bio.
In 1976, I started to Mobile DJ while Studying Radio & Television Arts at Ryerson in Toronto. It began as a fun way to pay for my education.
After graduation, I was recruited by Esson Place, a Banquet Hall in Scarborough that specialized in Wedding Receptions, to be their In-House Disc Jockey. Then, after seven years, I went back on the road providing Mobile Disc Jockey Entertainment Services.
Today, with over 30 years of DJ/MC Entertaining experience, I do this Full-Time and I'm even more passionate about my client relationships. So much so that I chose to specialize in providing Fun, Unique and Memorable Wedding Celebrations to Brides and Grooms exclusively.
I've honed my craft by attending Industry Trade Shows and Conferences and participating in Specialized Disc Jockey Training Courses to ensure my presentations are Creative and Professional.

2008 - "Master of Ceremonies" Workshop (Las Vegas)
After working in the Wedding Marketplace for so many years, in 2008 I decided to become a Certified Wedding Planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada. I wanted to learn and better understand the Wedding Planners perspective so I could serve my Bride and Grooms more effectively.

Currently, I am one of only a handful of DJs in Canada who is WPIC Certified. I incorporate my Wedding Planning knowledge into the planning and delivery of all my Wedding events by creating an Event Timeline so that your special day unfolds perfectly.

In my role with the CPDJA, I was instrumental in bringing Peter to Toronto to teach our Canadian DJ Members. Peter invited me to re-attend the program. It was awesome all over again!


In September 2011, I participated in Peter Merry and Liz
Daley's Workshop called "Make It Grand". This 2 Day Intensive Performance Training Workshop focused on developing and delivering the most creative and personalized Wedding Party introductions possible. It was an outstanding program!
